But if you are looking for an energetic vibe of Bangkok, those are the times to go. Especially Songkran, where the streets become a battlefield for the world’s biggest water-fight. Thais celebrate their new year by splashing water buckets or shooting others with water guns. You will see hundreds of people happily playing although they are all soaked in water. It is a very exciting festival and all travelers are welcomed to join.

However, a lot of people choose to travel to Phu Ket in this season so the price for flight tickets, hotel rooms, and other services is much higher.
