Full Itinerary

Day 01: Siem Reap Arrival (D)

Upon arrival, our representative will be waiting to warmly greet and escort you to the hotel. Check into the hotel and relax at leisure. In the late afternoon, we will head to Angkor National Museum with the excellent historical artifacts on display within this 20,000 square meter museum which will captivate both enthusiasts and our casual visitors alike. With a 1 or 2-hour tour through the Museum houses 8 galleries, we will learn and understand how the Khmer Empire has been established during the Golden Period and much more. Then embark 1 hour on a wine tour.

Day 02: Discover Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat (B, L)

This morning, we drive to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom which is renowned for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas & witness the jungle intertwined Ta Prohm, made infamous in Angelina Jolie’s Tomb Raider movie.

Ta Prohm, one of the prevalent temples in the area. We take a leisurely wander through this wondrous site, with giant fig and kapok trees that strangle the old-aged stonework in a photogenic interplay of man and nature. It is time for you to see the World Heritage Site; the Heart & Soul of Cambodia, Angkor Wat, the biggest Buddhist temple in the World. Admiring the Angkor Wat’s architectural masterpiece, strolling around this massive monument, and exploring the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards, and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple.

Late afternoon, get into Angkor Panorama Museum, the ideal is to be the first-class museum with contributing to the development of human civilization through the grand panoramic painting as well as manifold artworks that reflect the legendary Angkor Wat and its history and culture.

Day 03: Siem Reap – Kulen Mountain (B, L)

After breakfast, we depart to visit Kulen Mountain, or Phnom Kulen is declared as a National Park. It is an isolated mountain massif situated in Svay Leu District as well as some 48km from Siem Reap. Its highest point is 487 meters. This is widely known as the birthplace of the old-aged Khmer Empire. During the construction period of the ancient temples in the Nine century, sand stones were brought from this sacred mountain to Angkor.

As we reach the top of the mountain, we will head to the One thousand Linga River where we will see some images of gods and countless Shiva Lingas carved on the riverbed, then we walk up to see the huge reclining Buddha carved at the height of a big rock. Finally, we walk down and go to see the most beautiful waterfall where we can enjoy bathing or relax and have authentic Khmer before a drive down the hill and return to the hotel.

Day 04: Village Tour – Fly to Luang Prabang (B, L)

After breakfast, enjoy village tours near Siem Reap to learn and understand more about the daily life of local people and how they survive their life in the countryside! We will have a chance to interact with villagers, kids, or talking with monks in the pagoda, etc… Then we will enjoy lunch with a local family before return to the hotel to prepare checked out and transfer to the airport for boarding to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, we will be picked up and transferred to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is your leisure to explore this city.

Day 05: Discover Luang Prabang (B, L)

We discover Luang Prabang city, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Start at the former Royal Palace, then the National Museum, where we will explore the history of Laos. And then we visit Wat Mai and Wat Sensoukarahm which features a beautiful dazzling golden façade. Our morning’s tour will end at Wat Xieng Thong which is the most revered temple in Luang Prabang.  Later, in the afternoon, heading to Wat Visoun, the holiest temple of the city, which was entirely rebuilt in 1887 after being destroyed by the invading Black Flags from Southern China.

Keep going on to the Traditional Arts & Ethnology Centre, a museum dedicated to exploring the rich diversity of Laos’ ethnic minorities.  At the end of the day, we climb the 328 stairs of Mount Phousi and watch the sunset over the city and surrounding hills. We can visit the hill tribe evening market for some shopping. Overnight stay in Luang Prabang.

Day 06: Pak Ou Cave & Kuang Si Waterfall (B, L)

This morning, we drive to the Pak Ou Village where you are free to explore the many crafts that the locals make, and then upstream Mekong River by boarding on a small boat to the base of a limestone cliff, the site of the Pak Ou Cave. The lower cave is stunning and filled with Buddhist statues and relics.

Then, we will cross the Mekong again by boat and continue with a pretty drive downriver for 1.5 hours to the renowned Kuang Si Waterfall. En route, we will stop to admire the prevalent Whiskey Village. The jungle around the waterfall remains lush and superb year-round. Driving back to the city center and you are overnight staying in Luang Prabang.

Day 07: Luang Prabang – Hanoi (B, L)

Upon arrival, our representative will be waiting to warmly greet and escort you to the hotel. The rest of the day will be yours. Relax at leisure. Feel free to ask your guide about where to entertain.

Day 08: Discover Hanoi (B, L)

Today, we take a Hanoi half-day sightseeing. Our first stop is Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where honors the Greatest President of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh, and his former residence. Next, we head to the One-Pillar Pagoda and listen to a special story related to Ly Thai Tong King hidden inside this attraction, and Ho Chi Minh Museum.

Then, lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you visit the Temple of Literature, known as the oldest university of Vietnam, the tour also gives you 1-hour of traveling around Hanoi Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake by traditional cyclo/ rickshaw or Electrical car. It will provide you the best chance to get acquainted with the old streets and the life of Hanoi people, exploring Old Quarter will satisfy your love of shopping with a range of authentic products at reasonable prices.

Day 09: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L)

Breakfast and take a drive towards Halong Bay for a 4-hour cruise along with the Natural World Wonder of Vietnam. At around 12:00, check-in and board on the boat. Start sailing amongst the thousands of islets of Ha Long Jewel as well as have an opportunity to get into manifold outstanding activities such as heading to an amazing cave, a floating village, or just swimming in a pearl farm. Before dinner, it is your chance to join a cooking demonstration on the sundeck or a squid fishing activity.

Day 10: Halong Bay – Da Nang (B, L)

Enjoy a light breakfast, you will explore Sung Sot Cave, also called the Surprise Cave. Walk up roughly 100 steps to the cave entrance and get on a tour around the cave for approximately 45 minutes. Walk down approximately 100 steps and return to the boat. Brunch is served while the boat weighs anchor to cruise through the Bay passing beautiful spots. Being escorted to the Hanoi airport for flying to Danang. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and escorted to Hoi An, check-in, and take a rest.

Day 11: Discover Hoi An – Transfer to Hue (B, L)

Breakfast and drive to Hoi An Old Quarter for starting a walking tour through the narrow winding streets of Hoi An Ancient Quarter. Our first strop is Ong Pagoda, a 17th-century pagoda. This pagoda is not only a place to worship and meditate but also a cultural example preserving the heritage of the land.

Then, we head to the Chinese Assembly Halls of Fujian or Cantonese Chinese Congregation. Also, move to see the 200- year-old Tan Ky house which has signs of both Japanese and Chinese influences on architecture. Our last stop today is the Japanese Covered Bridge, emblematic of Hoi An built in the 1590s by the Japanese community.

Day 12: Discover Hue – Fly to Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)

Today, we spend our day exploring Hue, the former capital of Vietnam under the Nguyen Dynasty. The first attraction, Imperial Citadel, and Forbidden City were created in the 19th century for the Emperors by Nguyen Kings, it is a special architecture that shows the Vietnamese Royal Style. We later take a boat ride along Huong River, a graceful river to Thien Mu Pagoda with a 21-meter high octagonal tower built in 1844.

Lunch at a local restaurant, In the afternoon, we drive to the outskirts of Hue to the impressive tombs of Emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh that are considered two of the most stunning Royal Tombs in Hue.

Day 13: Discover Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)

This morning, we will discover the Cu Chi Tunnels underground system, a must-see destination in Southern Vietnam. These Underground tunnels in Cu Chi have been known during the period of the Vietnamese – American war. Heading to the tunnel system which stretches over 200km and consists of three levels in depth will give you a clear introduction about a period of Vietnamese history and what materials which the Vietnamese people used to dig such an incredibly long tunnel system and how the locals use these tunnels during the war. You have an opportunity to crawl through this amazing system of tunnels. To have a more exhilarating experience, you even are able to test your shooting skills on original AK47s and other guns from past war times.

In the afternoon, we enjoy a half-day Ho Chi Minh City tour. We will visit the major and most stunning sights of Ho Chi Minh City Central Square, “Nha Rong” port, the tree-lined “Dong Khoi” Street, the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Saigon which was inaugurated in 1880 and became the spiritual & cultural crucible of the French presence in the Orient as was the Post office designed by Gustav Eiffel and resembling a grand railway station, Thien Hau pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas of the Chinese in the area, the bustling Cholon (Chinatown). Our trip goes on with the War Remnants Museum before ending our tour by a stop at colorful Ben Thanh Market, the largest market of Saigon.

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B, L)

Today, start our full-day tour to Ben Tre. When we reach Ben Tre town, board on a boat and sail along Ben Tre River to see how the life on River Banks. We then stop at the Brick factory, the Salt workshop as well as coconut workshop. Also, we cruise on Cai Son and Nhon Thanh creeks to see some family-making mats.

After that, we take a motor cart trip through the rice fields and vegetable plains. Lunch at a local family. Afternoon, we take a rowing boat along water palm creek to return to the pier where our driver is waiting to take us back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 15: Ho Chi Minh City – Vung Tau (B, L)

Breakfast and morning at leisure until getting escorted to Vung Tau. As you reach Vung Tau, check into the hotel and relax on the beach.

Day 16: Vung Tau Free Day (B, L)

Today, you can freely discover Vung Tau. Feel free to ask your guide about where to entertain.

Day 17:  Vung Tau – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)

Day 18: Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)
